SQLite

The SQLite plugin allows JS/TS apps to used SQLite databases, directly or as the backend for other modules.

It provides the same API as cordova-sqlite-storage and may be used with ionic as its SQLite module, by adding

$ npm install --save @ionic-native/sqlite

and using the functionality as described on the native SQLite module page.

Database created by app will be stored in a “hidden” directory, under the user’s home, according to the id of the app as defined in the config.xml file–e.g. a database named samples.db for an app with id com.psychogenic.remoteprobe will be found in

~/.remoteprobe/samples.db
